Professional Experience

• 3yrs in criminal prosecution by virtue of powers which were vested to me by the Director of Public Prosecutions(DPP)
• 11 years in civil litigation as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania
• Manage Litigation section of Legal Department TANESCO with almost 20 lawyers
• Develop working tools for lawyers (Legal Department TANESCO) including due diligence manual, contract vetting guidelines etc.
• Participate in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Livestock Researchers as part of Tanzania Livestock Research Institute (TALIRI) team.
• Participate in various contract dispute settlement negotiations with local and foreign investors.
• Experience on international arbitration proceedings obtained from representing TANESCO in the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC)’s International Court of Arbitration and International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) London in the United Kingdom.
