PURPOSE STATEMENT

A strategic, dynamic and creative leader, equipped to work with private and public organizations that embrace all-inclusive approaches to development with the main aim to eradicate poverty and uphold dignity of human life in all its fullness.

 

COMPETENCY SUMMARY:

 

  1. For 4 years Secretary General of ALAT (Association of Local Authorities of Tanzania) whereby my roles as a Chief Executive of the association I have been able to conduct and supervise the 35th annual general meeting of the association which was held in Mwanza July 2019 and the guest of honor was The right Honourable Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa, The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, special general assembly of association held at Jakaya Kikwete convention center Dodoma from27th - 29th September 2021 whereby the Guest of Honour was Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, The 36th annual general meeting of the association which was held in Mbeya 12th – 14th September 2022, and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Isidori Philip Mpango,The Vice President of The United Republic of Tanzania.

 

  1. Within that period of time I have been able to visit over 54 local authorities all over the country to inspect various health and education projects implemented in the councils by own source funds and funds from the central government, essence of my visit being evaluating value for money for those projects

 

  1. Coordinating the UN Women project with the theme ‘ENDING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS IN MARKET PLACES’ jointly implemented with ALAT in Dodoma City Council and Shinyanga Municipality. Due to success story of these two municipalities, UN Women decided to scale up the project in three more municipalities namely Tanga, Mwanza and Arusha

 

  1. Over 18 years of experience in Governance and Leadership, public Relations and Diplomacy and administration teaching in both public and private corporations.

 

  1. Relevant academic skills: Master of Science in Governance and Leadership, Bachelors of Arts in Governance and Development and hold various Certificates, honors and short courses earned from different Institutions in Tanzania and outside Tanzania which includes, Certificate of National Service, Certificate of attendance in protocol and public relation, Certificate in Research skills, Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy (From Centre for Foreign Relations Kurasini Dar es salaam, Certificate of Animal Health and Production – From Livestock Training Institute – Tengeru.
