  • Attended a two days discussion on the Baseline survey findings of the LIVESTOCK MICRO REFORMS IN AGRIBUSINESS (L-MIRA) PROJECT. Done by World bank Group-June 2017

RESEARCH WORK

 

  • A survey on’ Penetration of Processed food in Urban and Semi urban areas. A case study of Dodoma, Morogoro, Singida and Pwani regions, financed by ASPIRES PROJECT in collaboration with Sokoine University of Agriculture and  Michigan state University. The survey conducted from August to October 2017.
  • A member of 5 people TEAM in the data analysis and report writing in the Penetration of Processed food in Urban and Semi urban areas research in Nov. 2017

 

  • A team leader and enumerator on’ ’A survey assessment of quality fertilizer handling as well as how business runs a case study of Morogoro region’ ’From November 2015 to February 2016.

The research was conducted in every district of Morogoro region-financed by Sokoine University of Agriculture in collaboration with University of Illinois.

 

  • An end line survey of soil documentation (Soil Doc.). A case study of Morogoro rural district. From July to September 2016

  1. Zero rate for locally produced Milk and Milk Products-Presented to Thick tank, (National Budgetary Committee), The permanent Budget Committee, Different stakeholders-SAGCOT, ANSAF, ACT.
  2. Voluntary Milk Business Formalization-Presented to TPSF and BEST-D
  3. Premium based payment system on quality raw Milk (In Collaboration with Tanga Fresh)-Implementation on Progress to some Milk Collection centres (UWAPOMA). Despite low Impact on its implementation.
  4. Tax exemption on dairy Milk canes, and milk packages-Presented to Thick tank, (National Budgetary Committee), The permanent Budget Committee, Different stakeholders-SAGCOT,ANSAF, ACT and CTI
  • Advocated for Increment of the Livestock budget in 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021 in collaboration with ACT, ANSAF and TAMPA.
  • On-going activity to reduce multiple authorities in Milk and Milk product business as proposed in the blue print-In collaboration with SNV.
